Crystals amplify and raise energy vibrations, whether this is for you, your space, your home or even your pets. They can make us more aware of our own energy as well as offering a helping hand to keep us present and in the moment. Perhaps in this manic digital age where distraction is everywhere, this is why crystals are having such a moment. They help support us when we are blocked, lacking in energy, feel slowed down or need calming.
There is evidence to suggest that crystals have been used in healing for around 6,000 years, dating back to Sumerians and ancient Egyptians. Nowadays the use of crystal healing relates more to the Buddhist and Hindu understanding of our ‘chakras’ (the energy centres in our body). Regardless, all of the different practices relating to crystal healing assign different properties to different types of crystals. The effect of each crystal changes not just with its type but also its shape and how it has been activated and cleansed.
Crystal healing is a type of alternative therapy that involves using gemstones to bring balance to an individual’s life and mind. Crystals are said to “have a stable and unchanging energy pattern, each with a unique frequency and energy field, or resonance” that gives them special properties, explains Judy Hall, in her work, The Little Book of Crystals. As a result, “they act like tuning forks,” helping bring “harmony” to the “very unstable energy field of the human body”.
Individual crystals are also known to have their own special energies that align to different areas of your life, with their shape and colour – as well as their type – affecting their influence.
In a standard session, crystal healer Emma Lucy Knowles explains that she “lays the crystals along the key chakra line of the [client’s] body to aid in balancing the energy field.” For her, “the chakra – or energy points – in our hands, as well as the third eye, the point between the eyebrows, are the most effective when starting therapy with a ‘beginner’.”
Auric field tuning intends on raising your frequency and bringing your energy into alignment to optimise your health and wellbeing.
Solfeggio tuning forks are used on and around your body to balance and align your auric field. Working at a deep level, the vibrations help with clearing and releasing past patterning on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level, enabling you to step into the future with ease.
Your auric field surrounds your body, expanding around 5 to 6 feet. It holds the messages of your life within this area known as the aura. Working with the tuning forks within the layers the story unfolds. You will feel a definite shift from the very first treatment. Old injuries that have been holding you back for years can disappear. Habits that have seemed unbreakable can be released.
~Do you have issues that seem unexplained in this life? ~Have you felt like you have lived somewhere before? ~Are you curious about what past lives you have lived?
Past life regression is a therapeutic technique used under hypnosis which brings you into a place of focus to access your past lives, where you are actively participating and communicating with your healer to guide you on your journey back. Sometimes, metaphors are shown to you rather than a past life.
If you experienced a trauma or grief in a past life it can affect you in this life, this style of therapy can support you to resolve or leave the issues in the past life so that it does not affect you in your present life.
Past life regression can support you with~
~An unexplained attraction to a place or person ~Clearing vivid dreams or nightmares ~Chronic unexplained illness ~Déjà vu experiences ~Feeling stuck or lost in your life ~Unexplained feelings or a sense of knowing ~An unexplained phobia or fear
The purpose of spiritual hypnotherapy is to receive higher guidance, direction on your true path, deep energy healing, and clearing of all that you do not need on all levels of your being. Let me explain further. You are a remarkable being. Yet at this moment you are only aware of the smallest part of the self. We all know that there is more to us than just our brain and body – the greater part of our being is our soul, higher self, spirit, higher consciousness.
Our connection to higher levels begins and ends inside. We are ALL able to connect to higher levels/dimensions of our own being. Some call it super-conscious, higher self, fifth dimensional you, and more.
HOW IS SPIRITUAL HYPNOTHERAPY DONE? When you open your mind to a deep meditative/hypnotic state you are open to receive and communicate, helping reach a higher state of clarity and openness where you can perceive knowing from higher levels of your own consciousness. We are talking about going to the fifth dimension and higher.
This is refined subtle work, but you can receive much knowledge, wisdom, guidance, support, comfort, and healing from all the wonderful entities that exist in higher levels and care for you and I, immensely.
Reiki healing works by the practitioner placing their hands either on or just off the body. The practitioner works at the head, sending the Reiki energy through the hands and into the recipient, where it works its way down through all of the layers of a person: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The energy works to clear, unblock and cleanse each of the chakra points, which in turn releases negative emotional energy, blocked mental energy, and helps the body to use its own resources for healing.
The practitioner can work their way down the body of the recipient, cleansing each of the seven chakra points (top of the head, eyes, throat, heart, solar plexus, belly and just below the belly), and any other areas that they feel need healing on the body. They work on the front and the back of the body, spending as much time in each area as is needed, allowing the energy to flow freely and thoroughly.
People who experience a Reiki healing may have visions during the healing, see bright colours, feel sensations in the areas being worked on, or even have an emotional release: this is where long pent-up feelings may come rushing out, in the form of laughter, crying, shaking or screaming. It is not harmful, just a release of emotions that need to be let out in order for full healing to occur. Everyone experiences something different, and it’s possible the person will not feel anything at all during the session. This does not mean that the healing is not working – sometimes the signs of the healing come out a few days or weeks later. This can be, for example, sudden clarity of thoughts and ideas, a calmness of the mind where before it was busy and constantly on the go. Or suddenly realising that the pain being felt is no longer there, or an opening of the heart – feeling compassionate and open-minded to other people. Every Reiki experience and Reiki healing session is as individual as the person receiving the healing. The Reiki energy may give off a sensation of heat, cold or tingling. This is perfectly normal. The recipient may drift off to sleep – and wake up feeling refreshed and relaxed. Often, the mind feels clear and calm, leaving the recipient with a feeling of peace.
Dreams are essentially stories we play out in our head overnight; they can follow a linear narrative or be abstract. Scientists estimate that we have roughly 3-6 dreams in one night and around 95% of these dreams are forgotten the following morning.
Dreaming occurs during the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) cycle of sleep. During REM sleep, your eyes move quickly in different directions. Usually, REM sleep happens 90 minutes after you fall asleep. You tend to have intense dreams during this time as your brain is more active.
Using finger pressure on key acu points around the body, acupressure aims to stimulate the body’s natural self-curative abilities. It can be particularly supportive for relieving pain, balancing the body’s energy and helping to maintain good health. Acupressure can also help to support the reduction of muscular tension, increase circulation and enable deep relaxation.
Many people choose acupressure as an alternative to acupuncture, with a treatment that works on the same principles but without the use of needles. Acupressure therapy can also be taught to help you self-treat. These techniques are easy to learn, simple to use and a great way to focus on your own health and wellbeing.
Acupressure massage can be particularly effective for ~
~Relieving pain of conditions such as backache, neck stiffness and arthritis ~Conditions that encompass the whole system such as chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia ~Helping you to cope with stress and day to day pressures, helping to release physical tension, achieve deep relaxation and restore vitality for overall wellbeing ~Maintenance of good health by strengthening the immune system and boosting the body’s resistance to disease ~Labour pain relief.
