~Designing A Conscious Robot~

“Imagine you were designing a conscious robot. Notice that in the beginning, from the robot’s “point of view”, none of following exists:

~A sense of self
~A sense of other
~A sense of world
~A sense of space being 3-dimensional
~A sense of time
~A sense that there exists an “external” world out there, beyond the robot
~A sense of clearly delimited objects or “things”
~A sense of death
~A sense of meaning of any kind. No judgments of good, bad, healthy, unhealthy, right, wrong, pretty, ugly, etc.
~A sense of big vs small, up vs down, thin vs thick, etc.
~A sense of logic or rationality
~A sense of personal story or life narrative
~A sense of life at all
~A sense of vision
~A sense of feeling
~A sense of hearing
~A sense of location
~A point of view

The robot would have zero sense of any of this! Meaning… the most self-evident aspects of reality which we consider “essential” to how we understand reality, would be utterly absent.

There doesn’t even exist a point of view!

In other words, all of these “essential” aspects are NOT as essential as we like to believe.

All of these things which we take as a given as humans, have to be constructed! They are not givens or fundamental aspects of reality AT ALL! They must be created. As for HOW are they created? Well… that’s another matter. One that humanity isn’t evolved enough yet to answer. It’s reasonable to suspect that there are probably many different ways to create them, be it via a human body/mind organism, or a robot/cpu machine, or something entirely alien to our imagination. But the important point is to see that they were created. This means we cannot take them as absolutes, or indubitable or self-evident truths.

What would be it like if you regressed to the point of view of this robot, before anything about reality was a given?

Or, imagine how else the robot’s basic map of reality might work. What if there are an infinite number of ways to “see” reality?

Imagine that 10,000 years from now humans create a robot who can see in 4-dimensions, has 3 totally new forms of perception currently unknown to us, and doesn’t have a sense of location, or rationality, or clearly delimited “objects”. Imagine what it would be like to be that robot! What kind of consciousness would it have? And what would that say about your notions of what reality is?”

Poetry {16} ~ NARCOTIC SOUL PERFUME NECTAR

Your soul has a perfume

Recognising soul family through the essence of their scent

Infused from God, heaven sent

The light of compassion opens the petals of the heart

When the petals unfold fragrance spreads across the valley.

Can you smell it, down dreams alley?

Smelling is a potent arrow form of travel

It tears through layers and finds the centre to unravel

When we are crushed, our forgiveness escapes in this sweetest universal scent

Exhaling the intoxication of your fumes

Perfumed in narcotic warmth of mornings flame dyed sky

Wafting the nectar of your love

Drifting in helm wafting along the wings of a dove

As below, so above.

Poetry {15} ~ TOWER OF BABEL UNIFICATION

Tower of babel

Intended to reach from earth to heaven

The building of which was frustrated when Jehovah confused the language of the builders (Genesis 11:1–9)

The city, probably Babylon, in which this tower was supposedly built

Unifed once in time

Scattered languages

Confusions of tongues

The human family as one

Scattered onto the earth

Fractals of the eternal geometric flower

Taking back our power

Transforming the serendipitous moment

Creating a world a new

In the winds these transient words flew.

Poetry {13} ~ SOLD SOUL TO BIG PHARMA

Claustrophobic numb miserable shell

Glass shards jabbing from within this body meat suit hell

Which way to go, left or right?

It doesn’t matter, far from alright

Eyes glazed, slacking in bright

Sold soul to pharmaceutical companies

To fill their greedy economies

Muffled vision, decaying immune system, stagnant waters I tread

Shifting personalities full of dread

Zombie stale habitionalites

I don’t know who or what I am turned into

Now I can’t live a day without swallowing you

Slowly letting go, silently crying

Days are numbered, slowly dieing

Implying you want to fix the world’s problems by stating the symptoms

Begin to dig the root

They’ll tear away your health

Then steal all your wealth

There’s no profit in a world where health exists

Disease and illness is that which they push and persists.

Poetry {12} ~ UNDERWORLD TREASURES

Her crown and glory writhing and hissing, rising then tasting the air

Man averted his eyes and medusa grinned in her underwater lair

She knew mere morals could not appreciate her rare beauty stare

Be an admirer, explore the underwater hidden beauty treasures

Leaving behind predetermined societal measures

Bioluminescence lit up the waters above

Jellyfish swimming in and out of man-made discarded masks and a hospital glove

Be an eccentric captivated by the whisperings of the heavens below

Neon purple and greens, an ephemeral glow

The underwater world yet to be explored by human beings

What myths and legends will remain true in our seeings?

~Technodeterminism~

We are standing at a crossroads. The influence that technology has on society and culture is called, technodeterminism. Most of us carry mini supercomputers in our pockets called smartphones. These devices act as external brains which seamlessly integrate into most aspects of our life. Most of us are completely dependent on them for travel, work, communication, entertainment, and beyond. Take a moment to consider the future implications of augmented reality, artificial intelligence, machine-learning, mass surveillance, automation, genome editing, nanotechnology, and their potential influences on society, culture, and our environment.

~Homeward Bound~

Know that everyone is connected to each other. There is no separation. This is created, to make us forget who we are and what we are. Your brothers and sisters are all around You. They forgot who they are, a long time ago. See them in light, remind them with love, who they originally are. And You = Me. We can never lie to each other, or make another person sick or mistreat any other organism on planet Gaia, knowing that this is not the highest form of treating yourself, we all are Holy. We all are Masters. We will lead ourselves, and Each Other, Home again. Let us lead the way.

Symbols {2} ~ The Flower Of Life

“This mystical symbol can be found in almost all major religions in the entire world. The Flower of Life is said to be over 6,000 years old and is composed of several concentric, equal, overlapping circles. It is said to contain vital information on the secrets of the universe and all living things. The earliest record of this symbol was said to be found on the alabaster steps that were once parts of the palace of King Ashurbanipal and has been dated to 645 BC.

Many spiritual and mystical geometric figures have been drawn from the pattern of the Flower of Life. The sacred Tree of Life in Kabbalah teachings, for instance, may be taken from the concentric patterns within the Flower of Life. Leonardo da Vinci, himself, was able to derive platonic solids and the golden ratio of phi from the Flower of Life.

It is believed that there is a secret symbol embedded within the Flower of Life. This symbol is said to hold the most important and most sacred patterns of the universe and is the harbinger of all life and existence—from molecules and atoms to planets and galaxies. Several other sacred geometry symbols that can be taken from the Flower of Life are the Tube Torus, the Egg of Life, the Tripod of Life and the Vesica Pisces, among others.”
