  1. I feel as if it’s too easy to say they come from deep with-in ourselves. A place where emotions and thoughts intertwine with the universe. A place where we are most open and ourselves. Mostly it feels too easy because my dreams tend to complex and vivid.

For example last night I dreamt I saw sleeping on a desert cliff clothed in wild flowers. I looked around to see my dog beside me and a lake below us. Next I saw a bird flying towards me. Coming closer to my dog and I the bird began to take the shape of a dodo with the head of a bald eagle and four eyes. When it landed near my dog and I she walked behind it to learn it’s scent. Seeing her close to the edge I tried to call her back only to watch the bird kick her off the edge. In the dream I screamed out “No!” only find myself moaning the word as I woke.

I’m still not sure to entirely make of it. All I know is I love my dog and felt terrible putting her in that dangerous of a situation. Even if it was just a dream.

    1. Interesting, thanks for sharing your thoughts.. In dream psychology every dream player represents us, what one word or association could you use to describe your dog? How are you putting that quality over the cliff? Some thoughts to consider.

I believe dreams come from our subconscious connected to the unconscious mind, an unconscious that we are collectively connected to and go into the astral planes..

  2. My dog would easily be associated with love and my best-self. This would be thrown over the cliff by giving into frustration about my living situation. I currently live with my parents to help out our dogs but have been ready to leave since January. Initially I thought I’d be able to leave a the end of this month. Now it’s looks like I’ll be here until June. I know this will give me what I need (the opportunity to save up for good start in the next part of my life). I just wish it didn’t feel like it comes at the expense of continually putting my life on hold.

I find it interesting that you mention an unconscious we are collectively connected to. Do you think though this unconscious two persons who have never met can have a shared dream?
